Fire Protected Control Panels

Fire is never a hazard if it is detected and suppressed at a very early stage. Our fire-protected control panels detect and suppress fire inside the feeder cabinet preventing its spread. These panels are suitable for Hazardous Area Installation Such as Chemical Industries, Paints and Die, Cotton Processing Industries.

Consultants and system integrators take utmost care to design systems that are safe in operation and equally safe for the people operators. No matter how safe the system design is, chances of failure can never be ruled out. An electrical system can fail due to many reasons and in some cases, accidental fire can also take place. 90 out of 100 cases of fire originate due to electric short circuits. We know how the fire accidents have caused devastating damages to life and assets. While accidental fire cannot be planned, we can certainly have plans and designs to curb the fire and minimize the extent of the damage.

To safeguard the installations from such unpredicted accidental fires we have designed distribution and control systems that can quickly react to any incident of fire and ensure minimum damage. This intelligent system detects fire and enables a ceasefire action inside the panel within seconds.

These fire safe control panels are equipped with a fire extinguishing system consisting of a fire extinguisher and a temperature-sensitive tube. The tube runs inside each compartment creating a loop around the switchgear and control gears in the panel. Then the tube is connected to the fire extinguisher.

The tube is highly sensitive to heat and bursts on the smallest incident of fire releasing the fire retardant gas, for example, compressed CO2. CO2 cuts off the supply of oxygen and curbs the fire immediately preventing it from entering other compartments. Thus minimizing the extent of damage to the equipment. The fire controller in the panel sets on a hooter to raise an alarm.

Such panels are highly recommended in fire-sensitive zones like

  • Petroleum industry,
  • Chemical industries,
  • Pharmaceuticals,
  • Die & Paints Industries
  • Fabric Industries,
  • Hotels,
  • Schools,
  • Hospitals, etc.
  • Shopping Mall and public offices
